Richard Marx
As a child growing up in the 80s with an American as my best friend, I was introduced not only to what was popular in the UK but also the US. My best friend was a HUGE fan of Richard Marx and I came to like his music too. The song which people in the UK may know him for is “Right Here Waiting” which was released in 1989 and reached #2 in the UK chart.
