This week’s photo challenge is “distorted”. In the blurb on their post they say:
Distorted. The ice cubes in the photo are actually in focus. It’s the view beyond them which has been distorted by the glass. But you don’t have to take the theme distorted so literally – perhaps something is actually distorting your picture, or perhaps your perception, feelings, or outlook is what distorts what you’re aiming your camera at. Get creative!
So, as usual, I have scrolled back through my old photos to see what I already had that I could use. I have found a couple from my stepson’s 18th birthday.
The balloons are stuck to the ceiling with static electricity. The angle of the ceiling is distorted in the photo by the light fitting not hanging down.
Next is his birthday cake. It wasn’t very big and we had to get 18 candles on it. Can you see the Christmas candles too? Or are they too distorted by the flames?
